| The Situation
August Storck KG, a globally recognized confectionery manufacturer, produces popular brands across over 100 countries, with its innovation hub in Halle, Germany. Ensuring continuous, efficient machine operation is crucial, with interconnected OT systems requiring robust security. To manage the convergence of IT and OT, Storck prioritized a native OT security solution, focusing on asset management, vulnerability mitigation, and incident response, ensuring regulatory compliance and smooth production.
| The Transition
Storck transitioned from a traditional antivirus provider to TXOne Networks, a leader in OT-native security, with support from Germany-based integrator pco GmbH & Co. KG. Storck deployed TXOne’s Stellar solution across all locations in January 2022, rapidly scaling to hundreds of agents without disrupting existing ICS applications.
| The Result
Storck’s Industrial IT department leads the protection of 1,000+ endpoints, achieving simplified operations and enhanced security with TXOne Networks. TXOne’s Stellar, a Cyber-Physical-System Detection and Response (CPSDR) solution, supports legacy systems and feeds critical insights into the SOC. Storck is also evaluating Edge solutions for third-party equipment, focusing on network segmentation and vulnerability shielding. With TXOne’s solutions, Storck has reinforced its OT security posture and set a cybersecurity benchmark in the confectionery industry.
